1.- ¿Who is ECM HOBBIES?

Is a scale modeling and hobbies related web site. We started our business in 2006 by selling our personal scale-models collection to other modelers. Since then,  this business has increased lately.

2.-¿How do I place an order with ECM HOBBIES?

Please follow this 5 "Easy-to-Pay" steps:

a).- Every product in our website is hosted by 2CheckOut.com. That means that you will buy your products using the 2CheckOut Shopping Cart. Select the product you wish to buy and send it to the "Shopping Cart" by clicking on the "Buy from 2CO" shopping cart button located at the end of each product.

b).- For every product you send to the Shopping Cart, you are redirected to 2CheckOut Shopping Cart page. There you have three options for modifying quantities or remove products, continue Shopping with ECM HOBBIES or CheckOut.

c).- Just Click on the "Go to Check Out" button if you want to finish your purchase or press "Continue Shopping" if you want to add more products to your Shopping Cart. If you choose to check-out you will be redirected to the "add your details" page. Please, fill correctly all the fields required to complete your order. Please be sure you have read the Terms and conditions Page by clicking in the link provided at your check-out process page or by going to the Terms and Conditions Page.

d).- Once you have accepted the Terms and Conditions, then you can choose your prefered payment method. Please note that if you do not accept the terms and conditions you will not be able to continue to finish your checkout process and you will not be able to select any payment method either. 

e).- After this steps, you will be redirected to your final step which is to write you personal details, a delivery and a billing address and to review your purchase. Please note that your billing address has to match with the same address you have in your credit card statement. If your billing address does not match with the address you have in your credit card statement, your order may be rejected or denied. This is to ensure that you are the real owner of the credit / debit card you are using to pay for an order placed with ECM HOBBIES. Also, this is a security step you have to comply with in order to reduce and avoid the risk of commiting fraud. This is for your safety and security, and your security is our safe.

5.- ¿Is there any other payment method?

 NO, ECM HOBBIES accepts only Paypal and 2CheckOut.com as the primary payment methods in our site

6.- ¿Does ECM HOBBIES ship products worlwide?

Yes, we ship worldwide. We use an International Standard Flat Estimated Rate for all of our products. Whether our customers are located in China or Argentina, they pay the same shipping rate. However, International Standard Flat Rates are subject to change without notice and depend on the weight and the size of the package(s) at the moment they are presented at the Post Office Counter for shipping. We have tried very hard to describe and asign any shipping rate to every one of our products as accurate as it has been possible to stablish accurate and precise information for our customers.

7.- ¿How much time I have to wait for my order to be delivered?

Since the day your order has been received in file and it has been pocessed, please allow 20 - 30 business days for you to receive your order / item at your doorstep. Normally an order is dispatched within the next 2 - 3 businees days. 

8.- ¿What if I don´t receive the items I ordered?

ECM HOBBIES is very concern about shipping / dispatch and delivery processes. In order to avoid your items are lost on their way to you, ECM HOBBIES uses Registered / Certified Airmail method to dispatch your order. This means that by receiving in your e-mail inbox the CORREOS DEL ECUADOR Tracking Number you are able to follow and track your order until your package is delivered. This is the same information we use to follow your order until it´s delivered at your local Post or Customs location.

Any way, please note that ECM HOBBIES is not responsible for any additional tax and duties the customer may have to pay for picking up the package from every country customs facilities. This additional fees are up to every country customs and government policies.

 Yes, we are very concern about our scale-modelers customers needs and, as modelers, we update our "In Stock" products every week.
