This is our Sabre conversion and decals combined with the Academy Sabre kit for those modellers that do not have a base kit to start with. Much easier on wallet than purchasing conversion and kit seperately.

Finally we have an accurate kit of this popular trainer.Our kit features the current version in RAAF service,with cockpit interior fitted out in F-18 style. Cockpit tubs and ondercarriage are in metal,so it sure wont be a tail sitter! Beautifully cast ejection seats are in resin, as is the rest of the cockpit interior and main wheels.This kit has the approval of the man that runs the Australian production line for this aircraft - who is also modeller, so you can be sure of this kit's scale fidelity.

This release is the Academy kit of the hard-wing Sabre as opsrated by the RAF. We have added a decal sheet with these options:XD727 of 92 Sqn XB630 of 66 Sqn, XB664 of 67 Sqn, XB982 of130 Sqn all in grey/green/pru blue or silver; and XD753 of 753 FAO with blue nose/tail. Finally we have XB956 of 112 Sqn with sharkmouth.

In this kit, we have replaced the standard Squadron markings with the very colourfull scheme first seen at the Avalon air show in Feb'03.With the black spine and panther on the fuselage sides,this kit really stands out in any line up.Looks great next to the 'Black Panther' CAC Sabre. Note: this is a limited run of 250 kits only.
